TNB Liberty Power Ltd.

TNB Liberty Power Ltd. a 235 MW combined cycle, gas fired Power Plant located at Mirpur Mathelo, District Ghotki Sindh (wholly owned subsidiary of Tenaga Nasional Berhad “TNB”), Government of Malaysia. (Formerly: Infrastructure Capital Group ‘ICG’)   TNB LPL Gas Treatment Plant (GTP) is located at Goth Qadir Bukhsh Sanghar, District Ghotki, Sindh, where it receives raw gas from OGDCL and after treatment, gas is supplied to TNB LPL Power Plant.

The SLS has provided services to:   TNB LPL 235 MW combined cycle power plant located at Mirpur Mathelo, District Ghotki, Sindh Province including Canal Water Intake, Tube wells, residential area/ colonies. TNB LPL Gas Treatment Plant (GTP) located at village Qadir Bukhsh Sanghar near Qadirpur OGDCL Gas Field Ghotki. TNB LPL Gas Pipeline right of way (ROW) from GTP Qadirpur Gas Field to Power Plant Complex Mirpur Mathelo. Engro Powergen Thar Private Limited is an key operator of Engro Energy Limited. It is set up for 2x330MW power project in Thar Block II, Sindh, Pakistan. Engro Powergen Thar Private Limited has a joint venture between Engro Powergen Ltd (EPL) (with 50.1% ownership), China Machinery Engineering Corporation (CMEC), Habib Bank Ltd (HBL), and Liberty Mills Limited.   EPTL’s power project is generating electricity using indigenous lignite coal from the Tharparkar district and successfully produced upto 660MW of electricity.
